AS SEEN ON
Andrew Bear embodies the resilience of the human spirit. As a Wholistic Healer with the Indigenous Wholistic Healing Services, Andrew’s past is a testament to the transformative power of healing. Growing up in a tumultuous environment marked by abuse and neglect, Andrew’s early years were fraught with challenges that led him down a path of self-destruction. In a quest for attention and an escape from his inner turmoil, he spiraled into a lifestyle of substance abuse.
His turning point came within the walls of a prison, a place that reflected his own struggles back at him through the eyes of others facing similar battles. It was there that Andrew witnessed the devastating effects of rejection and hate, as many sought solace in drugs and alcohol. But within this shared pain, there was also a shared desire for redemption and strength.
Today, Andrew stands as a beacon of hope, having channeled his experiences into a force for good. His commitment to the journey of healing—not just for himself but for countless others across Canada—is unwavering. As a graduate in Indian Social Work, he is not just a witness to change; he is a facilitator of it.
Andrew’s workshops do not merely touch on recovery; they dive into the core of trauma, equipping participants with the understanding and tools needed for emotional wellness and community healing. His life, once a narrative of hurt and rebellion, is now a story of love, forgiveness, and empowerment.
Join Andrew at the Indigenous Trauma Seminar, where his powerful testimony and therapeutic insights pave the way for healing, personal empowerment, and the building of trust within ourselves and our communities.
